We got home today from the hospital. Bailey is doing great, and Susan is recovering well. Bailey is eating very well, and is already showing her inquisitive side; she loves staring at all the pretty colors in her room!

Bailey had a great night last night and is feeding very well! She’s got a great appetite and disposition, and is very cuddly. Here she is, taken with Daddy early this morning after a snack!
We’re so happy to announce that our little miracle is here!
Bailey Adair McLean was born October 28, 2008 at 11:39 a.m. She weighs 7 lbs. and 8 oz. and measures 21 inches long. Both Susan and Bailey are doing great. Thanks to all our friends and family for their prayers and well-wishes. We can’t wait for all of you to meet our beautiful new daughter!
Well, it’s any day now for our daughter to arrive. Every twinge, cramp or movement is analyzed with weighty anticipation. Neither Matt or I can wait to meet our daughter. Of course, coupled with the discomfort of being 9 months pregnant in Florida’s languid, hovering heat, I can only wish and pray that she comes sooner rather than later. But if anything is true, babies come on their own (and God’s) time, and the best we can hope for is soon. Matt talks to my belly every night and tells her he can’t wait to meet her. It’s precious. These are moments (though uncomfortable) we won’t soon forget.
We’ve got everything ready… the hospital bag is packed, the car seat installed and I’ve got all her clothes for taking her home from the hospital (they are so cute and tiny)! We can’t wait for her to get here!
I was fortunate enough to be able to have lunch with my Aunt a week ago before our daughter arrives. Mom and Sandee came over and I took them to lunch at Legends, a local golf course community club. It was lovely. She’s one of my favorite people to hang out with!
Here we are at 37 weeks! This picture was taken a week ago. It’s almost comical how far my belly sticks out from my body! I have forgotten what my feet look like.
